Follow the below quick and easy points and feel the pride in the last day of the week:
1. Prepare Yourself to Succeed:
Confusion nurtures in you a terrible feeling that you are not handling your job very well. Every Friday afternoon take a 30 minutes break to lay out the coming week. The deadlines? The new services? A small plan, even the unimportant details, will help you start your week in a better mood (and don’t forget to finish up Friday with great satisfaction). Even better: Use additional 15 minutes to the process do something you have to start on Monday. It’s easy! You’re already on the right track.
2. Take a One Hour Break
Fridays are the best days of a week and it is always a good idea to go out of the office and maybe have lunch out or bring a dessert and simply sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Have a coffee at 9 AM or a chocolate bar at 3 PM. Read a book or a magazine. Have a walk around the block. Just relax and forget your phone for one hour. Use this mental break to regenerate your energy and continue the rest of the afternoon. You can always do that with a co-worker whom you’d like to know better, or a friend you haven’t seen in a while. This is a chance to connect.
3. Be Contemplative
Review what you have done in your last week and ask the following two questions. What did I do well? What could have gone better? It’s fine if you screwed-up at some place so no need to beat yourself, and also you don’t have to brag about a certain achievement. All of this will keep you in the right direction. If you did something beneficial, think about the attitudes or choices you have made which resulted in this outcome and repeat it. If you argued with someone, go to their desk with a cup of coffee and apologize sincerely. If you ever did that then you’ve learned something without dwelling on your mistake.
4. Smash Your Task Sheet
When you don’t have a presentation or urgent deadlines, write down a simple to-do list. It can be considered a psychological trick, but when you know all the tasks you need to finish by the end of the day will brighten your mood. It’s a fact that only you can control and dominate your Fridays knowing that it was used in a profitable way.
And you’ll also feel that self-satisfaction when you check all the things out of your list by the end of the day.
